Our first (and last) Sale!

6/19/2014

After over 13 years it is now time for me to wind up the publications business. It has been a labour of love that produced many great memories and friendships. It is time to move on to other interests, but not without acknowledging those who made it possible - my wife Mary Jane, my brother Paul, and my good friend Leon McCormack, all of the price guide contributors, and those who helped with the promotion and sale of my books.

This is a great opportunity for those interested in lamps to get some quality references at a bargain price!

Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates is one of the best auction houses for high-end kerosene lighting. Their March 23 auction promises to be a good one, with lamps from two excellent collections. Here are a couple of sample photographs. There are more photos on their website, and the full action catalog gets posted online about 10 days before the auction.

You can follow the auction and bid online. They provide an excellent shipping service which I have used many times.
